There are many ways to celebrate dad like with a good meal or a great gift. But in Tulsa, your gift can be the gift of good memories. There are many things to do, special events for Father’s Day in Tulsa. Once you find one of the events you think your dad will love the most, make plans and head out for a day he won’t soon forget. Your dad deserves nothing but the best, and the best Father’s Day activities are in Tulsa.
Fathers Day in Tulsa | Things to Do
Some dads are into cars; others are into comic books. This one is for the comic book-loving dad. The Tulsa Comic Book Swap is being held on Father’s Day this year! The event is being held in Glenpool and is hosted by Tulsa Nostalgia Swap. Admission is only $5, and kids 12 and under are free.
Multiple vendors will be ready to buy, sell, and trade comic books, video games, anime, pop culture, and so much more. Food trucks will help keep you fueled as you walk around checking out all the nerdy stuff. There will even be free giveaways! Doors open at 10 am, and the event goes until 5 pm.
Hangar Pinball’s 3rd Anniversary
This event is more than just a gathering of pinball enthusiasts. This event is a competition! Dad can register to play with a $12 fee and join the fun. This event is also a three-night event starting on Friday, June 14-16th. That means you can celebrate dad all weekend long.
Father’s Day Brunch & Historic Trolley Tour
Some fun Father’s Day things to do in Tulsa aren’t exactly on Father’s Day. However, celebrating dad doesn’t need to stick to a calendar schedule. This Father’s Day brunch and trolley tour is happening on June 15th from 11 am until 1 pm. The meeting spot is The Vault Restaurant.
The brunch starts at 10:30 am and goes until 12 pm. Then, everyone will board a trolley to tour some of Tulsa’s most famous father’s homes and landmarks. After the trolley tour, you can join the walking tour of historic landmarks. It’s a great way to spend a Saturday morning with Dad.
Heroes and Hot Rods
Mark Allen Chevrolet is hosting a car show to remember. This event will let Dad show off his car, and proceeds go towards first responders. The event starts on Saturday, June 15th, at 8 am and goes until 2 pm. There will be plenty of beautiful cars for Dad to check out, vendors, and food.
Tulsa Drillers
Play ball! Another great way to spend Father’s Day in Tulsa is to head to the Tulsa Drillers game. The Drillers will be taking on Arkansas this year, and the game will be hosted at home. Since the game is a home game, you can take Dad to enjoy it live instead of listening to it on the radio or watching it at home.
Going to a game live is 1,000 times better than watching it on television, and it will create lasting memories for you and your father.
