The annual Tulsa Balloon Festival has always taken place leading up to and on Father’s Day in Tulsa. This year, the event starts on June 13th and ends on Father’s Day. This event is filled with things to do for the whole family and dad will surely be one of the many people enjoying the festival. During the event, balloon glows and daily flights occur as well as a carnival, shopping tents, and many different types of foods and drinks. Admission to the event is free but carnival rides will cost a small fee which will go towards local education charities.

All Ford Super Show | June 17

As part of the Mid-America Ford Meet, the All Ford Super Show is a chance to show off your love for Ford vehicles. While the whole event starts on the Wednesday before Father’s Day in Tulsa, the All Ford Super Show is on Father’s Day. This event is free for spectators to look at Ford powered machines, race cars, classics, and more. If your father would like to register to have his vehicle featured in the event there is a small fee. There will also be food, entertainment, and awards given out to the vehicles that are registered for the event.

40th Annual Black Gold Days | June 14 – 17

Head to Glenpool for the annual celebration of black gold during the Black Gold Festival. This event is the largest festival in the area and spans four days. During the festival, there will be carnival rides, vendors, food, live entertainment, frog and turtle races, a horseshoe contest and a beer garden your dad will truly enjoy. The Black Gold Festival has been around for 40 years this year and it is a celebration that you won’t want to miss.

Sunday Concert | June 17th

Father’s Day falls on a Sunday every year which is perfect since Guthrie Green hosts Sunday Concerts during the summer season. These concerts are free to the public and go from 2:30-6:30 pm. The entire community is invited to enjoy the concerts and each other’s company during the events. This is a great way to end the night or start the evening with dad on Father’s Day in Tulsa.

Tulsa Drillers | June 17th
